CURRICULUM

Oasis Special school follows the National Curriculum Statement (NCS) as that is policy. The Behavioural Characteristics Programme (BCP) is used as a resource to reach the outcomes and assessment standards with our learners. The assessment standards and outcomes as stated in the NCS are too broad for our learners who are intellectually impaired, to reach and therefore the BCP is used, within the framework of the NCS, as it is more specific. We follow three learning programmes namely Literacy, Numeracy and Life skills.
